Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Laughing, smiling and frowning create wrinkles in our skin. Dynamic lines (created during active movement) form static lines over time (which are present at rest). Preventative treatments stop the dynamic lines resulting in significantly slowing the onset of static lines. Consistent treatments can soften and significantly improve the appearance of pre-existing static lines.  Anti-wrinkle injections are administered to temporarily relax specific muscles. There are several areas that anti-wrinkle injections can help.

Areas to consider – Vertical forehead lines, Frown lines (11s), Crows Feet, Nasal creases Bunny lines), Smile lines (downward smile, smokers lines), Masseters (jaw clenching/ facial slimming), lip eversion (lip fip), Gummy smile (excessive gum show upon smiling) dimpled (orange peel appearance) chin.

Treatment time – Allow approx 30 mins. (Allow more if it’s your first time, less if you are a regular!)

Pain – Usually there is minimal pain and it is very brief. No anaesthetic is required.

Aftercare – After your treatment it is vital that you don’t touch the area or lay down for at least 4 hours. This will minimize the risk of the product moving to nearby muscles, resulting in an undesirable outcome. It will also help minimize the risk of an infection. Bugs can spread from our hands or phones etc into the tiny pin-pricks left by the needle. 4 hours is the minimum, but if you can, just avoid touching until the next day.

Please note – results are individual. Several treatments may be required for the desired outcome.
